Very interesting place. Mainly takeout With four tables seating for 12.
I started with hot & sour soup - small size is a pint - large is a quart. ($1.95 or $3.50). I really love hot & sour and this is excellent. Loaded with ingredients and excellent taste.
On their lunch special I ordered beef with Chinese vegetables. Comes with pork fried rice.
Everything is very hot. Made to order.
Only problem I'm not good with those little plastic forks and spoons. Good for takeout not so good to eat with.
This place is worth a visit. Lots of food. I understand why some people that eat in ask for everything in a to go container.
Be sure to try the hot & sour soup. -

Delicious and very generous with the apps I ordered as well as condiments and fortune cookies

I have been getting food here, several times a year, and never had the experience like below.

We just moved right around the block from China One and were excited to try a local chinese place that has carryout and delivery (over $15). We ordered two beef and brocolli over fried rice and then dinners came with one eggroll each. The bill was just under $16 and was ready for our take-out within 15 minutes.
UNFORTUNATELY, it was horrible.
The beef tasted like something... other... than... beef. It was rubbery and fatty and I could hardly swallow the first bite.
The fried rice was terrible as well. It had huge chunks/cubes of some kind of orange crusted meat in it and the cubed carrots were frozen in the middle.
Ummm... the eggrolls and the fortune cookies were good I guess.
CUSTOMER SERVICE??? I called and was very polite. I just wanted to let them know that it was really bad tonight. I explained my experience... and in mid sentence WAS HUNG UP on from a woman that could barely understand English.
I'm really dissapointed. I had hoped this would be our 'go-to' place for Chinese. Honestly... Panda Express (the fast food chain) was cheaper and TEN TIMES better.
My fortune cookie however was correct: "The best way to fix something you don't like, is to replace it" Hmmmm.... I will DEFINITELY be replacing this local chinese food choice pronto.
